Categories of personal data we may process

Depending on how you use Voice Control Pro, we may process contact and account information such as your name, email address, login details, and subscription status; billing and transaction information required to manage purchases, invoices, refunds, and fraud prevention; support communications you send to us; technical and diagnostic information such as app version, crash reports, device or operating system information, and service logs; and limited usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the product.

If you use optional cloud features, we may also process the audio, transcripts, prompts, generated text, or related metadata needed to provide that feature.

How we use personal data

We use personal data to provide and maintain the service, authenticate users, manage subscriptions and payments, respond to support requests, secure the service, investigate abuse or misuse, comply with legal obligations, communicate important service-related notices, and improve stability, usability, and product performance.

Local processing

If you use local mode, your recordings and transcriptions stay on your device. We do not store that data.

Cloud-assisted features

If you use optional cloud-based features, we and our service providers may process the data required to provide those features.

Legal basis

We process personal data where necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, protect the security of the service, and pursue our legitimate business interests. Where required by law, we rely on your consent.

Sharing and transfers

We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate the product, such as providers for hosting, billing, authentication, support, and cloud processing. If personal data is transferred outside the EU or EEA, we use appropriate safeguards as required by law.

We currently use the following sub-processors for specific parts of the service:

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. For example, billing records may need to be retained for statutory accounting purposes, while diagnostic logs or support data may be retained only for a shorter period relevant to troubleshooting and service administration.
